Medical Doctor -part time
This role provides clinical oversight and supervision for Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Registered Nurses in accordance with Georgia Composite Medical Board regulations. The position primarily involves consultation, chart review, and protocol supervision with minimal direct patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide physician supervision for NPs and PAs per Georgia regulations
- • Establish and maintain supervision and protocol agreements
- • Be available for clinical consultation when needed
- • Conduct periodic chart reviews for quality and compliance
- • Provide medical oversight for clinic, wellness, and med-spa services
- • Support clinical providers performing VA disability assessments
Required
- • Active MD or DO license in Georgia
Preferred
- • Board certification preferred (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related specialty)
- • Experience supervising NPs or PAs preferred
- • Knowledge of Georgia Composite Medical Board supervision requirements
