Hematologist/Oncologist Opportunities with AdventHealth Medical Group Central Florida

Hematologist/oncologists will join well-established practices providing primarily outpatient care with inpatient rounding on call weekends. The role involves participation in multidisciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials including Phase I, daily tumor boards, and collaboration with various specialty services to provide whole person care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invest in your education with daily tumor boards with each day focusing on a different tumor site
  • Add value to the medical community by participating in clinical trials brought to Central Florida through the partnership with AdventHealth Translational Research Institute
  • Provide whole person care with collaboration with key partners such as surgical oncology, plastic and reconstruction surgery, inpatient and outpatient palliative care, radiation oncology and many others
  • Shared call to promote work life balance
Required
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification/eligibility in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology
Preferred
  • Experience with opportunities in malignant hematology, general hematology and oncology and opportunities to specialize in specific solid tumor sites

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Oncology & Hematology is seeking fellowship-trained, team-oriented hematologist/oncologists to join our well-established practices throughout the Central Florida area. Our group has been serving the community for more than 20 years and continues to expand to meet the needs of a growing patient population.

  • Opportunities include both primarily outpatient with inpatient rounding on call weekends
  • Our practices consist of experienced physicians and advanced practice providers, with access to infusion, radiation, surgical, and other specialty services within the AdventHealth system.
  • Physicians participate in multidisciplinary clinics, research, clinical trials (including Phase I), and daily tumor boards.
  • Invest in your education with daily tumor boards with each day focusing on a different tumor site.
  • Add value to the medical community by participating in clinical trials brought to Central Florida through the partnership with AdventHealth Translational Research Institute.
