The VP/Chair of Clinical Care oversees Divisional Chiefs in Clinical Specialties with a focus on clinical quality, human resources, risk management, policies, and specialty-specific clinical care issues. This role coordinates clinical care delivery across specialties within and external to JMMG, balancing administrative and clinical responsibilities in a hybrid work setting.
Key Responsibilities
- • Oversee Divisional Chiefs in Clinical Specialties focusing on clinical quality, human resources, risk management, JMMG Policies, and specialty specific issues around the totality of clinical care.
- • Coordinate clinical care delivery across specialties within JMMG and clinical groups external to JMMG.
- • Manage the complexity of the organization with its many stakeholders to pursue the underlying community health mission.
- • Maintain a productive and positive partnership with JMH/JMHPN that is more valuable than contract terms to enable mutual success.
- • Undergo Lean process management training.
- • Perform administrative work at 0.80 FTE (32 hours/week) and clinical work at minimum 0.2 and maximum 0.3 FTE (hours vary based on inpatient vs. outpatient).
- • Work in a hybrid role requiring weekly in-office presence.
Required
- • MD/DO degree with current Board Certification in an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) approved specialty
Preferred
- • 5 years of leadership experience strongly preferred
Job Overview

- The VP/Chair will coordinate clinical care delivery across specialties within JMMG and clinical groups external to JMMG.
- JMMG Executive priority is to pursue the underlying community health mission by managing the complexity of the organization with its many stakeholders. The scope of services provided by JMMG includes direct clinical service staffing, management operations and strategic partnerships.
- VP/Chair will be expected to undergo Lean process management training.
- The VP/Chair must maintain a productive and positive partnership with JMH/JMHPN. A partnership that is more valuable than contract terms will enable mutual success.
