Join a specialized cardiology practice providing comprehensive care for patients with cardiovascular disorders including coronary, carotid, and peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmias, and heart failure. The role involves performing clinical, non-invasive, invasive, and electrophysiology services across multiple office locations and inpatient care at affiliated hospitals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical, non-invasive, invasive and electrophysiology cardiology services
  • Provide general cardiac care including echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, exercise stress testing and vascular studies
  • Deliver inpatient care at RWJBH, New Brunswick and St. Peter’s University in New Brunswick
  • Collaborate with a team of cardiologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, sonographers, nuclear technicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff
Required
  • Proficient in reading echoes and nuclear studies
  • NJ licensed or eligible for licensure
  • Fully trained as a general cardiologist

RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, and New Brunswick Cardiology Group are seeking a highly skilled, Non-Invasive Cardiologist, with drive and excellent interpersonal skills to join our Somerset, New Jersey practice.

New hires will join a team of seasoned cardiologists who perform a mix of both clinical, non-invasive, invasive and electrophysiology services. New Brunswick Cardiology Group, is a unique and highly specialized cardiology practice established in 1972 that is committed to caring for patients with cardiovascular disorders, including coronary, carotid, and peripheral vascular disease (PVD), arrhythmias of the heart and heart failure.

The practice currently has six cardiologists including an electrophysiologist. In our three offices located in Somerset, Monroe, and East Brunswick, we provide general cardiac care, echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, exercise stress testing and vascular studies. Our professional, experienced staff consists of Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistant, accredited sonographers and nuclear technician, Certified Medical Assistants, and a full complement of trained, compassionate Administrative staff.

New Brunswick Cardiology Group provides inpatient care at RWJBH, New Brunswick and St. Peter’s University in New Brunswick.

New Brunswick Cardiology Group, is a unique and highly specialized medical practice that is committed to helping patients who suffer from circulatory disorders, including coronary, carotid and peripheral vascular disease (PVD).

The comprehensive clinical skills of New Brunswick Cardiology Group are available for patients at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and St. Peter’s University Hospital. Our cardiologists are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for a consultation. Our prompt and attentive service enables us to evaluate patients and provide a written report the same day the request is received. All general cardiology issues are addressed and subspecialty consultations are arranged.

In our conveniently located offices, our experienced medical team offers patients complete consultative evaluations, advanced in-office diagnostics and cutting edge, highly innovative therapies using minimally invasive catheter-based treatments, performed with local anesthesia, typically on an outpatient basis.

All of our physicians are board certified cardiologists and Fellows of the American College of Cardiology with in-depth training in subspecialties including Invasive Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular Interventions and Carotid Artery Stenting.
