The Cardiologist is responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases of the heart and its functions by examining patients for symptoms indicative of heart disorders using medical instruments and equipment. The role includes studying diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings to aid in making diagnoses, prescribing medications, and recommending dietary and activity programs as indicated.
Key Responsibilities
- • Diagnosing and treating diseases of the heart and its functions

Required
- • Possession and maintenance of a Physician's License from the State of North Carolina
- • Certifications from the DEA
- • Must be a member in good standing of the Medical Staff of the hospital
Preferred
- • Ability to perform peripheral vascular intervention is a plus

Job Summary: The Cardiologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases of the heart and its functions by: examining patient for symptoms indicative of heart disorders using medical instruments and equipment; as well as studying diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings to aid in making diagnoses, prescribing medications and recommending dietary and activity programs, as indicated. Ability to perform peripheral vascular intervention is a plus .
Minimum Requirements: Possession and maintenance of a Physician's License from the State of North Carolina and certifications from the DEA. Must be a member in good standing of the Medical Staff of the hospital.
