Key Responsibilities
- • Provide care for patients across the lifespan in pediatric genetics, reproductive genetics and genetic counseling, cancer genetics and genetic counseling, adult genetics, and lysosomal storage disorders.
- • Practice in outpatient pediatric specialty center and provide inpatient consult service.
- • Participate in faculty appointment at UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate.
- • Direct resident elective and lecture to residents and medical students.

Position Highlights
- Housed in the Dept. of Pediatrics, our Genetics program provides care for patients across the lifespan. The program includes pediatric genetics, reproductive genetics and genetic counseling, cancer genetics and genetic counseling (Family Cancer Risk program), adult genetics, and our nationally recognized lysosomal storage disorders program.
- Join our Chief of Genetics, five genetic counselors, a care coordinator and an MA who practice in our outpatient pediatric specialty center in Springfield, MA. We also provide an inpatient consult service.
- Faculty appointment at UMass Chan Medical School- Baystate. Our clinical educators foster an environment of educational excellence through direction of our resident elective and lecturing to residents and med students.
- Qualifications: BE/BC Medical Genetics. Excellent mentorship available.
- The compensation range listed below represents the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are based on assumed full-time commitment for exempt employees. Minimum= $200,000. Maximum= $220,000.
