Key Responsibilities
- • Manage patients in an inpatient setting, including ICU-level care when required
- • Perform ICU procedures such as ventilator management, lumbar puncture, and central line placement
- • Provide coverage for a 9-bed open ICU with tele-intensivist support
- • Work night shifts with schedule options of three 14-hour shifts per week or six 14-hour shifts every other week
- • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
Required
- • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Med-Peds
- • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program
- • Eligible for or able to obtain medical licensure in the state of North Carolina
- • Ability to obtain hospital privileges and credentialing
- • Experience or comfort with hospital-based patient care
- • Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
- • Excellent communication and patient care skills

- Join an established Med-Peds hospitalist team consisting of 6 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider
- Schedule options include:
