Family Medicine Physician MD/DO - Multiple Locations, Maine

Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in an outpatient or mixed clinical setting, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions. Deliver preventive care and coordinate services to support the health of individuals and families across the lifespan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full-scope primary care to patients of all ages
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Perform routine physical examinations, health screenings, and preventive care
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions as appropriate
  • Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and wellness
  • Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic health record
  • Participate in quality improvement, compliance, and patient safety initiatives
Required
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Active or eligible state medical license
  • Current BLS/ACLS certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
