Academic & Clinical Practice
A growing ophthalmology program is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Cornea/External Disease specialist to join an expanding multi-specialty ophthalmology practice. Candidates with an interest in resident education and residency program development are encouraged to apply.
The practice is based at a tertiary referral medical center that manages a high volume of complex ophthalmic cases. The ophthalmology service is actively expanding across multiple subspecialties and benefits from a strong hospital-based referral network, as well as referrals from community optometrists and ophthalmologists in a region with limited subspecialty coverage.
The program has received ACGME approval to launch a new Ophthalmology residency, with the inaugural class scheduled to begin in summer 2026, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to program development from the ground up.
