Hospital Medicine Physician
Join a dynamic hospitalist medicine team providing care at Presbyterian Santa Fe, working with a diverse group of physicians and APPs. The role involves managing an open ICU with procedural responsibilities and participating in rapid response and code situations, using EPIC as the electronic medical record system.
Key Responsibilities
- • Open ICU-6 beds. Procedural skills are REQUIRED: Central lines, intubations, vent management, paracentesis, thoracentesis.
- • We can help train for arterial lines and small-bore chest tubes.
- • The Hospitalist team is part of the rapid response team and responds to codes.
- • The average census per doctor is 10-14.
- • Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system.
Required
- • Board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ATLS and BLS.
- • Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in New Mexico.
- • Authorized to work in the United States.

- • New graduates are encouraged to apply.

- Full-time, 7 on/off schedule, 12-hour shifts.
- Rotate with the other physicians through days and nights.
