Anesthesiologist
The Anesthesiologist is responsible for providing clearances for cataract surgery by evaluating patient vital signs, medical histories, allergies, medication use, and other risk factors. The role includes preparing patients for anesthesia, performing monitored anesthesia care, overseeing patient recovery, and managing immediate post-operative needs.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide clearances for cataract surgery in the Ambulatory Surgery Center by evaluating patient’s vital signs, medical histories, allergies, current medication use, and other risk factors
- • Prepare patients for anesthesia
- • Perform monitored anesthesia care
- • Oversee patient recovery
- • Care for the patient’s immediate post-operative needs
Required
- • Florida license required
- • Board Certification required
- • Experience in circulating in and pre-op and recovery of anesthesia patients
- • Must be mobile in an office setting, sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stretching
Preferred
- • Stay abreast of new developments and technology in the industry
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- • Ability to provide high level patient care and comfort with other medical professionals

- The role is 5 days per week, but job sharing 2-3 days per week would be considered for the right candidate
