Neuroradiologist - Clinician--Educator - Junior Ranks
The role involves clinical neuroradiology service, including off-hours on-call coverage, teaching residents, fellows, and medical students, and participating in interdisciplinary clinical conferences. The candidate is also expected to develop a focused research program in neuroradiology with support and mentorship provided.
Key Responsibilities
- • Daily clinical supervision

- • Teaching medical students rotating through the Department of Radiology
- • Providing outstanding clinical service to referring clinicians
- • Providing expert clinical consultation to partners in Emergency Medicine, Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, and Ophthalmology
- • Participating in the Neuroradiology off-hours on call program, including evening, night and weekend coverage
- • Developing a focused body of research in a field within Neuroradiology
Required
- • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- • Certified by the American Board of Radiology
- • Neuroradiology CAQ-eligible
Preferred
- • Completion of a two-year neuroradiology fellowship
- • Prior research experience
- • Evidence of training in research methodology
- • Demonstrated evidence of peer reviewed scholarship

The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of neuroradiology. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Applicants must be certified by the American Board of Radiology and be neuroradiology CAQ-eligible. Completion of a two-year neuroradiology fellowship is strongly recommended.
