This role involves basic and translational research related to the biology of complex vascular anomalies, teaching and research training of medical students, graduate students, residents, fellows, and post-doctoral fellows, and clinical care of children, adolescents, and young adults with complex vascular anomalies. The candidate will direct an independent NIH-funded research program focused on vascular biology and related areas.
Key Responsibilities
- • Teaching and research training of medical students, graduate students, residents, medical fellows in pediatric hematology/oncology or other disciplines, and post-doctoral fellows.
- • Serving as attending physician participating in the inpatient and outpatient care of children, adolescents and young adults with complex vascular anomalies.
- • Directing an independent NIH-funded research program focused on basic and translational research in vascular biology, experimental modeling, or other areas directly relevant to complex vascular anomalies.
