Pediatric Anesthesiologist
This role involves practicing 100% pediatric anesthesiology with a wide variety of complex and routine cases in an exclusive pediatric environment. The position offers a shift-based model with flexible scheduling, solo practice opportunities, and collaboration with a dedicated team focused on mentorship and professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- • Practice 100% pediatric anesthesiology with a wide variety of complex and routine cases
- • Manage 16,000 anesthetics per year across all surgical service lines except burns and transplants
- • Work within a shift-based model with flexible scheduling
- • Participate in 184 shifts per year including all call shifts and 17 in-house overnight call shifts
- • Engage in transparent and equitable time off and call scheduling
- • Choose own case assignments
- • Practice solo with opportunity for occasional medical direction - 1:1 with CA-2 resident and 1:2 with CRNAs
- • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, advanced practice providers, and subspecialty surgeons in a safety-driven culture
- • Focus on mentorship and continuous professional development
Required
- • BC/BE in Pediatric Anesthesiology
- • Eligible for California medical license
- • Passion for pediatrics and commitment to patient-centered care
