Cardiac Thoracic Vascular Surgeon
This role involves practicing high-quality cardiothoracic and vascular surgery within a collaborative, multidisciplinary hospital system. The position offers access to a modern hybrid operating suite and collaboration with a robust cardiology group, supporting complex endovascular and open procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- • Practice cardiothoracic and vascular surgery in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting
- • Participate in a 1:4 call schedule for the CTV service
- • Utilize a modern hybrid operating suite fully equipped for complex endovascular and open procedures with advanced imaging integrations
- • Collaborate with cardiology specialists including interventional cardiology, EP, general/invasive, heart failure, and advanced imaging for referrals, joint cases, shared care, and innovation

- • Must be licensed and/or eligible for all credentials in North Carolina

Job Summary: CarolinaEast Health System is seeking a Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon to join our well-established Heart & Vascular team in New Bern, NC. As part of a single hospital system that includes inpatient, outpatient, and surgical resources, this role offers a rare opportunity to practice high-quality CTV surgery in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.
