Key Responsibilities
- • Provide pediatric musculoskeletal oncology care including pelvic pathology
- • Perform hip preservation procedures
- • Conduct pediatric/adolescent joint reconstruction including joint replacement
- • Manage pediatric trauma cases
- • Participate in teaching opportunities with Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine
- • Engage with multiple orthopedic residency programs
Required
- • Fellowship-trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon
- • Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric orthopedic surgery
Preferred
- • Interest or experience in pediatric musculoskeletal oncology
- • Interest or experience in hip preservation
- • Interest or experience in pediatric/adolescent joint reconstruction
- • Interest or experience in pediatric trauma

Dayton Children’s Orthopedic Center is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified/eligible pediatric orthopedic surgeon with a focus in pediatric musculoskeletal oncology.Department Specific Job Details:
Ideal candidates will have interest or experience in:
- Pediatric musculoskeletal oncology (including pelvic pathology)
- Hip preservation
- Pediatric/adolescent joint reconstruction (including joint replacement)
- Pediatric trauma

- Established team of 8 surgeons, supported by APPs and a large therapy group
- 33,000+ outpatient visits annually across 3 locations (Dayton Children’s Hospital Main Campus, Dayton Children’s South Campus in Miamisburg, Ohio and Dayton Children’s Outpatient Care Center in Troy)
- ACS Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
- Freestanding children’s hospital with 35+ pediatric specialties serving a pediatric population of 510,000 from a 20-county region of central and southwestern Ohio and eastern Indiana
