Dermatologist – 100% Remote Telehealth (PRN, 1099 Contract)
This position delivers specialty dermatology care via telemedicine to underserved populations in correctional facilities. Physicians provide outpatient consultations remotely with schedules provided approximately two weeks in advance to ensure predictability and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide remote outpatient consults through secure telemedicine platforms.
- • Review patient information and develop appropriate care recommendations.
- • Collaborate with on-site clinical teams to coordinate next steps in care.
- • Document visits clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
- • Follow Avel’s established telehealth workflows to ensure smooth and professional consults.
Required
- • MD or DO degree required.
- • A minimum of 1 year practice experience in Dermatology.
- • Active DEA certification.
- • Board Certification/Board Eligible in Dermatology.
- • At least one unrestricted state license (any state in the U.S.).
Preferred
- • Telemedicine experience preferred but not required.
