StationMD
This role involves delivering telehealth behavioral health and psychiatry care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) across the United States. The psychiatrist will evaluate and treat patients via secure telehealth technology, collaborate with caregivers and residential support teams, and help expand access to mental health services nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide telepsychiatry and behavioral health care during scheduled telehealth shifts
- • Conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
- • Diagnose and treat psychiatric conditions using evidence-based practices
- • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with clinical guidelines
- • Deliver patient-centered care tailored to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD)
- • Collaborate with caregivers, residential staff, and interdisciplinary clinical teams
- • Document patient encounters and treatment plans within telehealth platforms and EMR systems
- • Commit a minimum of 10 scheduled hours per week in re-occurring blocks
- • Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical education
- • Attend at least 70% of monthly team meeting
- • Work with our credentialing and licensing team to maintain multi-state licensure, Medicaid enrollment, and insurance credentialing
Required
- • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- • Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatry
- • Active, unrestricted Montana medical license prior to scheduling shifts
- • Willingness to obtain additional multi-state licenses (with credentialing team support)
- • Active DEA license
- • Clean malpractice and sanction history
- • U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
- • Must reside within the continental United States
- • Comfortable practicing in a remote telehealth / telemedicine environment

- • Experience treating individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred

StationMD is seeking a Montana Licensed Telepsychiatrist (MD/DO) to deliver telehealth behavioral health and psychiatry care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) across the United States. This fully remote telepsychiatry position allows experienced physicians specializing in psychiatry, behavioral health, or mental health to provide high-quality virtual care while working from home.
