Chief Physician of Cerebrovascular Division – Houston Methodist
The Chief Physician of the Cerebrovascular Division will lead and grow the division’s clinical, academic, and research missions, overseeing outpatient and inpatient stroke services, the TeleStroke program, carotid duplex services, and stroke fellowship training. This role involves shaping strategic direction, expanding clinical trials and translational research, and mentoring faculty and trainees within a nationally recognized neurological institute.
Key Responsibilities

Required
- • MD or MD/PhD
- • Board certified/eligible in Neurology
- • Fellowship training or equivalent expertise in cerebrovascular disease
- • Demonstrated success in clinical trials, translational research, and extramural funding
- • Proven leadership in program development and academic medicine
- • Commitment to education, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration
