This role involves providing comprehensive outpatient pediatric cardiology care within a community-based practice, focusing on continuity, collaboration, and family-centered care. The physician will interpret various cardiac diagnostic tests, participate in inpatient consults, and work closely with a tertiary pediatric cardiology program for advanced care and surgery.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric cardiology care
- • Interpret transthoracic and fetal echocardiograms, ECGs, ambulatory heart rhythm monitors, and exercise tests
- • Serve as a trusted cardiology resource for local pediatric and family medicine providers
- • Participate in inpatient consults at River Bend Hospital in Eugene
- • Work seamlessly with OHSU as the affiliated tertiary pediatric cardiology referral center with excellent interventional and surgical outcomes
- • Become part of the OHSU cardiac team, with all of the modern diagnostic resources and strong multidisciplinary support
- • Build long-term relationships with patients, families, and the community
- • Focus on continuity, collaboration, and family-centered care
- • Enjoy a balanced, sustainable workflow
Required
- • MD or DO
- • Fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible
- • Eligible for Oregon medical licensure

We’re seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist to join a community-embedded practice serving the Eugene/River Bend region in Western Oregon. This role is ideal for a physician who seeks to deliver high-quality clinical care, has a passion for building meaningful relationships with patients and partnering providers, and enjoys the rhythm of community-based practice—without heavy academic demands.
You’ll practice under a Clinical Associate model, with strong connections to a regional tertiary pediatric cardiology program for advanced diagnostics, interventional care, and surgery.
