Nephrologist - Physician

UM Shore Medical Nephrologists provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plans for patients on Maryland’s eastern shore. The role involves inpatient and outpatient services with a work schedule including weekdays, rotating weekends, some holidays, and on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plans for patients
  • Engage in inpatient and outpatient services
  • Participate in hospital call on a 1:4 rotation
  • Work Monday-Thursday 8 am – 4:30 pm, Friday 8 am – 3 pm
  • Work rotating weekends, some holidays, and on-call
Required
  • Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland
  • Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within practicing specialty
  • Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification
  • Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility
  • Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification
  • Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position

UM Shore Medical Center at Easton, a member of University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a BE/BC Nephrologist to join a well-established practice in Easton, MD.

UM Shore Medical Nephrologists provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment plans for our patients on Maryland’s eastern shore. Our physicians and nurse practitioners have been recognized for their innovative patient service programs and for actively engaging in local outreach efforts to implement education programs that encourage early dete4ction and treatments of renal disease.

Qualifications

  • Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.
  • Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within practicing specialty required

Annual salary: $349,180 . “The posted compensation reflects the range based on current median MGMA and SullivanCotter benchmarks. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the physician’s experience, training, and qualifications”
