Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care for adults with congenital heart disease within a multidisciplinary team. Engage in clinical and basic research collaborations, participate in ACHD imaging and interventional procedures, and contribute to teaching, mentorship, program development, and quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care for adults with congenital heart disease
- • Clinical and basic research opportunities for collaboration with the Krannert Cardiovascular Research Center
- • Collaborate closely with pediatric and adult cardiology colleagues to ensure seamless continuity of care across the lifespan
- • Work within a multidisciplinary team including cardiac surgery, electrophysiology, maternal-fetal medicine, advanced heart failure, and other subspecialties
- • Participate in ACHD imaging, interventional procedures, or other subspecialty areas based on training and clinical interest
- • Engage in the teaching and mentorship of fellows, residents, and medical students
- • Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research to support the continued growth of the ACHD program
Required
- • MD or DO degree
- • BC/BE in Cardiology
- • Completion of an ACGME-accredited ACHD fellowship required
