The role involves collaboration with the Health Services Administrator and participation in committees such as Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements
- • Direct clinical services for patients
- • Provide clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director
- • Collaborate with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided
- • Participate in various committees including Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested
Required
- • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
- • Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required
- • Must show/be able to obtain active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
- • Ability to pass credentialing and background check
