Physician Moonlighter (IR)

The physician is responsible for meeting, assessing, and diagnosing pediatric patients in a children's hospital setting. They provide healthcare services that meet state and national standards, including prescribing appropriate medications, health regimens, and lifestyle adjustments to aid recovery, prevent future health issues, and promote healthier lives.

Required
  • Board Eligible/Certified by the American Board of Radiology or AOBR required
  • Eligible for licensure in Minnesota required
  • Completion of a pediatric radiology fellowship
  • Clinical competency and expertise in caring for hospitalized children
  • Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics
  • Knowledge of common medication, side effects and contraindications
  • In-depth knowledge of legal medical guidelines and medicine best practices
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Respect for patient's confidentiality
  • Compassionate and approachable
  • Responsible and trustworthy

Position Summary

The person in the physician role will be responsible for meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients in a children's hospital setting and provide them with healthcare services that meet state and national standards for caregiving. Responsible for prescribing patients with appropriate medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery from diagnosed health issues, prevent future health issues and/or promote a healthier life.

The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full-time employment (40 standard hrs per week). Annual salaries for part-time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full-time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.

In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
