Cardiac Intensivist - Nocturnist
This role involves providing high-quality and compassionate cardiac emergency medicine and critical care, with a focus on cardiac surgery, ECMO/MCS, cardiac surgery anesthesia, and post-operative care. The physician will support a 42-bed CVICU and 22-bed CCU, participate in a remote ECMO cannulation program, and contribute to a nationally recognized cardiac care program.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in cardiac emergency medicine and critical care
- • Manage patients with minimal cardiac surgery, ECMO/MCS, cardiac surgery anesthesia, and post-op care
- • Support a 42-bed CVICU and 22-bed CCU
- • Participate in the remote ECMO cannulation program to support hospitals in the greater Atlanta area
- • Engage in physician governance opportunities
Required
- • BC MD or DO
- • Active license in GA or eligible to obtain
- • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
Preferred
- • 3 - 5 years' experience in Cardiac Critical Care role
- • Strong interest in Mechanical Circulatory Support / ECMO
