The Medical Director provides clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements, directs clinical services for patients, and supervises medical staff at the assigned site. The role ensures efficient and clinically appropriate medical services and participates in committees such as Continuous Quality Improvement, Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities

Required
- • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
- • Active, unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain
- • Active, unrestricted DEA
- • Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check
- • BC/BE in a primary care specialty is required

We are currently seeking a full-time Site Medical Director to join our team at East Moline Correctional Center located in East Moline, Illinois. East Moline is located 6 miles from Bettendorf, Iowa.
The Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements, direct clinical services for patients, and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director ensures efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.
Annual salary starting at $280,800 or higher based on years of experience.
Qualifications
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
Active, unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain
Active, unrestricted DEA
Ability to pass credentialing, drug screening and background check
BC/BE in a primary care specialty is required
Available Shift
Monday - Friday
Day shift
No nights, holidays or weekends
Choice of 5, 8-hour shifts or 4, 10-hour shifts
