Children's Hospital Colorado -Pediatric Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician

The candidate will provide medical services in both inpatient and outpatient environments, primarily focusing on inpatient rehabilitation and consultation. The role includes teaching Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine fellows, residents, medical students, and physical therapy students, as well as participating in quality improvement and scholarly activities.

Key Responsibilities

Required

  • Board certified/Board eligible in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine
  • For Associate Professor: 5 years experience in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine
Preferred
  • 3 years experience in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine (for Assistant Professor)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
  • Proven ability to care for patients with high complexity, both medically and psychosocially
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a rehabilitation team and develop relationships within the medical community

Job Summary:

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking an Academic Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine physician. The position rank is commensurate with the selected candidate's academic level. The candidate will provide medical services in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Clinical care will be provided at Children's Hospital Colorado and potential sites within the network of care.

Minimum Qualifications:

Assistant Professor:

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

Assistant Professor - $226,000 - $235,000

Associate Professor - $251,000 - $292,000

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
