The Infectious Disease Physician will provide inpatient consultations, manage outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C treatments, and assist with antimicrobial stewardship and infection control programs. The role involves collaboration with a large team of ID physicians, participation in postgraduate medical education, and appointment as an Assistant Professor at Quinnipiac University.
Key Responsibilities
- • Inpatient consultations at The Hospital of Central Connecticut
- • Outpatient office including outpatient HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment
- • Assist with Antimicrobial Stewardship program
- • Assist with activities of infection control and the hospital epidemiology programs
- • System-wide collaboration with over 20 ID physician colleagues
- • Post graduate medical education for residents as well as medical students
- • Appointment to Quinnipiac University at the Assistant Professor level
- • NO primary care
- • Active Hospitalist program to care for inpatients
- • Shared call with other ID physicians

- Assist with Antimicrobial Stewardship program
- Assist with activities of infection control and the hospital epidemiology programs

Qualifications
BC/BE Infectious disease physician licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of CT.
