Key Responsibilities
- • Perform heart catheterizations
- • Perform PCI or angioplasty/stents
- • Perform pacemaker implants
- • Perform defibrillator implants
- • Provide 24/7 cardiology coverage
- • Participate in call schedule – 1 in 5
- • Support STEMI and cardiology call together
- • Work with 3 independent interventional cardiologists supporting the hospital
- • Operate in two cath labs, one newly renovated with state-of-the-art equipment
- • Work full-time with a mix of inpatient and outpatient care

Riverview’s Heart and Vascular Center was opened in 2004. The facility’s 14,000 square feet is solely dedicated to heart care patients. The state-of-the-art facility houses two fully digital cath labs. The stand-alone heart center has nine outpatient beds.
