Obstetrics and Gynecology
Oversee and administer the continuum of hospital care from admission to discharge in the OB Emergency Department. Manage patient care, hospital care leadership, process management, communication among physicians, discharge planning, and patient/family communications.
Key Responsibilities
- • Oversee and administer the continuum of hospital care from the time the patient is admitted until the time of discharge
- • Patient care and leadership related to hospital care
- • Carrying out medical policies established by Asante Health System
- • Manage many aspects of a patient’s hospital care including process management
- • Communications among other physicians involved in the patient’s care
- • Discharge planning
- • Patient/family communications
Required
- • Current or recent experience in hospital medicine with experience and comfort in caring for patients in the area of specialty
- • Graduation from an approved ACGME-accredited OB/GYN Residency program
- • Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider, certified by the American Heart Association
- • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- • Current unrestricted MD/DO license by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners
- • Must obtain and maintain staff membership and appropriate privileges
- • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- • Must meet all qualifications to participate in the hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage

- • Annual base salary of $383,000, with a minimum work requirement of ninety-one 24-hour shifts per year
- • Compensated for any additional shifts worked
- • Sign-on bonus of $50,000
