Immediate Care
The physician is responsible for providing diagnoses and treatment to patients presenting with a spectrum of cases based on their specialty. This typically includes patients seen in an acute care clinic or primary physician’s office but usually excludes longitudinal care.
Key Responsibilities
- • Providing diagnoses and treatment to the spectrum of cases that present to the physician based on the physician’s area of specialty.
Required
- • Current or recent experience in Immediate Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine is required
- • Graduate of an approved medical school is required
- • Successful completion of residency training in an ACGME accredited in Family or Emergency Medicine program is required
- • Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine by the Oregon State Board of Medical Examiners (OSBME)
- • MD (Doctor of Medicine) or DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)
- • Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from American Heart Association (AHA) is required upon start
- • Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by Asante Medical Staff team
- • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs
- • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
