The Program Director is responsible for the general administration, curriculum planning, recruitment, teaching, and supervision of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program. The role involves establishing the strategic direction and maintaining the standards, quality, and reputation of the program, while supporting integration with physician practices and hospital clinical services to enhance value and quality in medical education.

Job Summary:

Emergency Medicine Program Director:

Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, California, is searching for an Emergency Medicine Program Director candidate. The Program Director will be employed by TeamHealth, and shall be responsible for the general administration, curriculum planning, recruitment, teaching and supervision of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program (“EM Program” or “Program”) sponsored by Los Robles Regional Medical Center. The Program Director establishes the strategic direction of the Program and is responsible for the standards, quality and reputation of such. The Program Director is expected to support integration of the EM Program with physician practices and hospital clinical services in a manner that enhances value and quality and promotes an optimal environment for professional practice and medical education. The program is 3-year program with a total complement of 18 residents.
