Obesity Medicine - Weight Management (Johnson City, NY)
This role involves providing comprehensive medical care to patients struggling with obesity and related cardiometabolic conditions, focusing on healthy weight loss and disease prevention. Key Responsibilities
- • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients struggling with obesity and other cardiometabolic conditions.
- • Focus on achieving healthy weight loss and preventing disease progression.
- • Contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach in the treatment of obesity and its related comorbidities.
Required
- • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- • Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology, or a related specialty.
- • Board Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology).
- • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of [Specify State, e.g., New York].
- • DEA registration.
- • Current BLS/ACLS certification.
Preferred
- • Board Certification or eligibility in Obesity Medicine (e.g., American Board of Obesity Medicine - ABOM) highly preferred.
