Key Responsibilities
- • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients struggling with obesity and other cardiometabolic conditions.

Required
- • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- • Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology, or a related specialty.
- • Board Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiology).
- • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of [Specify State, e.g., New York].
- • DEA registration.
- • Current BLS/ACLS certification.
Preferred
- • Board Certification or eligibility in Obesity Medicine (e.g., American Board of Obesity Medicine - ABOM) highly preferred.

Guthrie Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Obesity Physician to join our busy Weight Management Practice in Johnson City, New York.
This Guthrie Lourdes Hospital full-time position is ideal for a dedicated physician looking to contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach in the treatment of obesity and its related comorbidities. The Johnson City Weight Management Practice is dedicated to transforming lives through comprehensive, evidence-based medical weight loss.
Our patient-centered approach combines front line medical treatments with personalized lifestyle interventions to empower individuals to achieve sustainable health outcomes. The candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients struggling with obesity, and other cardiometabolic conditions, with a focus on achieving healthy weight loss and preventing disease progression.
