Mercy Medical Center is hiring a breast surgeon for the nationally accredited Hoffberger Breast Center, which offers comprehensive care for women overcoming breast disease. The center integrates diagnosis, treatment, and recovery in one location, supported by a multidisciplinary team to ensure top-rated care.
Key Responsibilities
- • A regionally acclaimed center, with a comprehensive approach to Women’s Health, it provides physicians with all the tools needed for the diagnosis and treatment of all breast conditions.
- • National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) accredited since 2009.
- • Robust mid-level support with multiple Nurse Practitioners in the clinic, and a dedicated PA/NP's in the operating room to support optimal patient outcomes.
- • Cancer support services including nurse navigation, patient education and counseling, and social work support.
- • High risk assessment: focus on early identification of patients at increased risk allows for a proactive approach to patient care.
- • Lymphedema prevention program with Restorative Therapists
- • Weekly tumor board provides customized, coordinated care for patients.
