Required
- • MD or DO degree
- • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency

- • Current DEA licensure with full prescriptive authority
- • Demonstrated excellence as a clinician and educator
- • Knowledge and experience in team-based primary care models, telehealth, and electronic health records
- • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- • At least two years’ experience as faculty in an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency program

Keck School of Medicine of USC Family Medicine Residency Program (KSOM FMRP) is seeking a board-certified family medicine physician to join our team as Core Faculty in our ACGME-accredited 6-6-6 Family Medicine Residency Program in Los Angeles, CA (inaugural class began July 2021).
The KSOM FMRP’s mission is to train Family Medicine physician trailblazers to transform primary care and promote health equity and wellness for all. Highlights of our program include resident continuity experience in diverse urban settings following a “Clinic-First” Model in an academic center, FQHC, and innovative Street Medicine program. Core Faculty supervise residents in our sponsoring institution of Keck Medicine of USC, an academic tertiary-quaternary healthcare system, with multiple hospital and ambulatory sites.
Core Faculty will provide both direct and supervising patient care in adult inpatient and family medicine ambulatory settings. The program is actively recruiting faculty with clinical expertise in adult hospital medicine to continue developing residency inpatient curriculum.
Responsibilities
60% Residency Time, inclusive of:
- 10% Educational Time, including:
- Didactic teaching
- Resident evaluation and feedback
- Participation in Clinical Competency Committee
- Faculty development activities to enhance teaching and leadership skills
- Resident advising
- Contribution to scholarship
- 50% Precepting: Precepting residents in Keck Medicine Family Medicine clinics (Keck Medical Center and Arcadia), including comprehensive primary care for all ages, and opportunities for General and Gynecologic Procedure Clinics; Inclusive of Adult Inpatient supervision (average 4 weeks/ year)
- 10% Clinical Administrative Time
- 30% Direct Patient Care, maintaining active patient panel at Keck Medicine Family Medicine clinics
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency
- Current board certification by ABFM or AOBFM
