SAMGI
This role involves providing high-level surgical care in a state-of-the-art facility supporting a busy Level II Trauma Program. The surgeon will treat acute hand and upper extremity trauma as well as perform elective hand surgeries, focusing on building an elective practice while working alongside a dedicated team with 24/7 PA coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- • Treat acute hand and upper extremity trauma
- • Perform elective hand surgeries with a focus on building your elective practice
- • Work through the Ortho Trauma Service with a schedule of 10-14 shifts in succession
- • Focus solely on delivering top-notch surgical care without billing or coding responsibilities
Required
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Orthopedic Surgery
- • Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Hand Surgery
Preferred
- • Recent or current experience in Orthopedic Hand Surgery preferred

About the Position

State-of-the-art facility supporting a busy Level II Trauma Program.
- Work alongside a dedicated team of hospitalists, ER physicians, and trauma surgeons, with 24/7 PA coverage.

PAs are first call, ensuring you can focus on high-level surgical care.
- Treat both acute hand and upper extremity trauma as well as perform elective hand surgeries, with a focus on building your elective practice.

No billing or coding responsibilities – focus solely on delivering top-notch surgical care.
- Schedule of 10-14 shifts in succession, working through the Ortho Trauma Service.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Hand Surgery.
- Recent or current experience in Orthopedic Hand Surgery preferred.
