Ridgeview
The radiologist will perform diagnostic imaging including routine ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography, and X-ray. The role involves opportunities to read subspecialty imaging such as MR, CT, and PET, and perform procedures including CT/US guided biopsies, drain placement, para/thoracentesis, joint injections, and basic fluoroscopy. The position includes a typical weekday schedule with light weekend onsite hospital call responsibilities and a mix of onsite, outpatient, and teleradiology work.
Key Responsibilities
- • Perform routine ED, inpatient and outpatient CT/US/NM/MG/XR imaging
- • Read additional subspeciality (MR/CT/PET) imaging as desired
- • Practice mammography
- • Perform procedures including CT/US guided biopsies, drain placement, para/thoracentesis, joint injections, and basic fluoroscopy
- • Participate in light weekend onsite hospital call responsibilities once a month or less
- • Work a schedule Monday - Friday: 7 am – 3 pm, 8 am – 4 pm, or 9 am – 5 pm depending on shift assignment
- • Provide coverage with shift distribution including 50% onsite hospital based (Waconia), 25% outpatient imaging center based (Chaska), and 25% teleradiology (home)

- • Board certified or board eligible radiologist
Preferred
- • Candidates preferably eager to practice both mammography and perform procedures including CT/US guided biopsies, drain placement, para/thoracentesis, joint injections, and basic fluoroscopy
- • Radiologists with either a strong mammography or procedural skill set would still be gladly considered
- • Fellowship training is preferred
- • Experienced and motivated candidates without subspecialization are welcome to apply, including newly graduated residents with a desire to work in the southwest Twin Cities metro

Ridgeview Medical Center is seeking a full or part-time board certified or board eligible radiologist to practice in the southwest Twin Cities metro (Waconia/Chaska).
The current hospital employed practice includes five board certified radiologists with diagnostic responsibilities including routine ED, inpatient and outpatient CT/US/NM/MG/XR imaging as well as the opportunity to read additional subspeciality (MR/CT/PET) imaging as desired.
- Candidates are preferably eager to practice both mammography and perform procedures including CT/US guided biopsies, drain placement, para/thoracentesis, joint injections, and basic fluoroscopy.
- Radiologists with either a strong mammography or procedural skill set would still be gladly considered.
- Fellowship training is preferred, but experienced and motivated candidates without subspecialization are welcome to apply, including newly graduated residents with a desire to work in the southwest Twin Cities metro.
- Typical schedule Monday - Friday: 7 am – 3 pm, 8 am – 4 pm, or 9 am – 5 pm depending on shift assignment.
- No evenings or nights.
- Light weekend onsite hospital call responsibilities once a month or less: 7 am – 11 am Saturday/Sunday (10-12 weekends per year).
- Shift distribution includes 50% onsite hospital based (Waconia), 25% outpatient imaging center based (Chaska), and 25% teleradiology (home).
- Reasonable RVU expectation: average ~55 RVUs/day per day
- 13 weeks (65 days) vacation as both entire weeks and scattered 3-4 day weekends.
