Senior executive role providing leadership, vision, and accountability for all clinical operations and strategy for ambulatory services. The role bridges clinical, administrative, and operational domains and includes both leadership responsibilities and dedicated clinical practice time.

Required
  • 10+ years Significant clinical practice experience in in Primary Care - Internal Medicine, Family Medicine with progressive leadership responsibilities
  • 5 years Substantial experience in medical leadership/administration-especially in managed care or integrated health delivery settings if applicable
  • Proven track record of driving quality improvement, cost containment, service line performance, provider engagement
  • Familiarity with regulatory/funding environments, accreditation, clinical operations
  • Doctorate Degree Medical Degree (MD or DO)
  • PA Medical Physician License
  • Board Certification
Preferred
  • General Experience In payer/health plan environment or value-based care models is a plus
  • Master's Degree Public Health, Business Administration, or Health Administration

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is a senior executive responsible for providing leadership, vision and accountability for all clinical operations and strategy for ambulatory services. The CMO ensures that clinical programs are aligned with organizational goals for quality, safety, population health, cost-effectiveness, growth and regulatory compliance. The CMO is the physician leader and key member of the executive leadership team, bridging clinical, administrative and operational domains. This position will encompass both leadership responsibilities (50%25) and dedicated clinical practice time (50%25).

Experience

·         10+ years Significant clinical practice experience in in Primary Care - Internal Medicine, Family Medicine with progressive leadership responsibilities. (Required)

·         5 years Substantial experience in medical leadership/administration-especially in managed care or integrated health delivery settings if applicable. (Required)

·         General Experience Proven track record of driving quality improvement, cost containment, service line performance, provider engagement. (Required)

·         General Experience In payer/health plan environment or value-based care models is a plus. (Required)
