Clinical Cardio-Oncologist, Academic Clinician

The role is for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. The position includes teaching medical students, residents, cardiovascular fellows, and advanced practice providers, as well as clinical work on inpatient and outpatient services and general cardiology coverage based on division needs.

  • Selected candidates will be expected to contribute to the educational mission of the organization.
  • Clinical responsibilities may include attending on the inpatient and outpatient services at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and associated practice sites.
  • Candidates should be prepared to provide services for general cardiology patients based on the needs of the division.
  • Opportunities for non-invasive imaging will be considered on an individual basis taking into consideration applicant expertise and divisional priorities.

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular diseases.
