The role emphasizes outpatient procedures, evidence-based musculoskeletal care, sports medicine, injury prevention, and coordination with in-house therapy and imaging teams.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide surgical and non-surgical management of general orthopedic conditions across a high-volume, musculoskeletal-focused population
- • Perform outpatient orthopedic procedures at affiliated ASCs and collaborate closely with in-house PT and imaging teams
- • Lead and contribute to evidence-based MSK care, sports medicine, and injury prevention initiatives
- • Utilize EPIC/MyChart EHR to optimize care coordination, documentation, and pre/post-operative workflows
- • Serve as a referral anchor for primary care providers managing fractures, joint pain, sports injuries, and orthopedic conditions across the full spectrum of care
- • Maintain productivity expectations aligned with MGMA benchmarks
Required
- • Experienced

- • Board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon
- • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- • Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
- • Unrestricted Oregon medical license (or ability to obtain)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, board-certified or board-eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our high-demand orthopedic team. This role encompasses the full breadth of general orthopedic care — both surgical and non-surgical — for a highly active patient population. With access to digital imaging, MRI, in-house physical therapy, and affiliated ambulatory surgery centers, you will manage conditions ranging from fractures and degenerative joint disease to sports injuries and soft tissue pathology. A predictable weekday schedule, no ER call, and strong internal referrals make this a rare opportunity to thrive professionally while enjoying Portland’s outstanding outdoor lifestyle.
