This role is for a dedicated Cardiac Electrophysiologist focused on high-volume, procedurally complex EP work, including advanced ablation, AFib ablation, and lead extraction. Key Responsibilities
- • Join a team led by a senior EP with mastery across the entire procedural spectrum.
- • Participate in investigation-level protocols and utilize the latest in device innovation.
- • Maintain a dedicated EP focus.
- • Participate in an EP-only call rotation.
- • Work with a specialized EP support team (inpatient and outpatient).
Required
- • M.D. and Fellowship training in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
- • Board Eligible or Certified (ABIM).
- • Demonstrated proficiency in AFib ablation.
- • Excellent communication skills.
- • A commitment to evidence-based, patient-first care.
Preferred
- • Interest in clinical research and advanced VT is highly desirable.
- • Proficiency in LAAO is preferred.
- • New grads encouraged to apply.

Cardiovascular Associates of Marin (CAM), the premier heart team serving the North Bay is seeking a high-caliber Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join our elite team. This role offers unparalleled mentorship in epicardial VT, complex laser lead extraction, and advanced ablation techniques—ideal for an ambitious physician looking to join operators with some of the finest procedural hands in the field.
- Advanced Procedures: Robust volume in Atrial Fibrillation ablation and Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO). While proficiency in LAAO is preferred, we are prepared to provide training and certification.
- Cutting-Edge Research: CAM maintains a sophisticated research footprint, recruiting for IDE and IIS clinical trials. You will have the opportunity to participate in investigation-level protocols and utilize the latest in device innovation.
- Dedicated Infrastructure: Benefit from a specialized EP support team (inpatient and outpatient) and a high-efficiency workflow with 1.5 to 2 days per week dedicated to the lab.
Position & Practice Structure
- Specialized Focus: Unlike traditional blended roles, this position is designed for a dedicated EP focus.
- Quality of Life Call: Sustainable, EP-only call rotation (estimated 1:2 or 1:3). No General Cardiology weekend/night call required.
- Partnership Track: A transparent 2 to 3-year track to full partnership within a physician-owned group.
- Sophisticated Technology: Full integration with EPIC EHR and state-of-the-art lab facilities at MarinHealth Medical Center.
