Family/ Internal Medicine Physician Needed– Virtual Primary Care (MD/DO)
Provide comprehensive virtual primary care in a virtual-first environment, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients across acute, chronic, and preventive care needs. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team, help shape innovative workflows and care delivery models, and support high-quality, accessible healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide comprehensive virtual primary care services for acute, chronic, and preventive health concerns
- • Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care aligned with organizational clinical standards
- • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation for all patient encounters
- • Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers and interdisciplinary care teams
- • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and provider development programs
- • Support clinical workflow optimization and operational improvements
- • Adhere to productivity, quality, and patient-experience expectations
- • Serve as collaborating physician for APPs where required by state regulations
Required
- • MD or DO from an accredited institution
- • Completion of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible
- • DEA license with ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed
- • Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
Preferred
- • Minimum of 2 years post-residency clinical experience preferred
- • Virtual care/telemedicine experience preferred
- • Active and unrestricted physician license in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC preferred
