The role provides medical leadership for Crisis & Urgent Care Services at a new behavioral health center, overseeing planning, development, implementation, and ongoing quality of medical services. It combines direct patient care with administrative leadership, clinical oversight of Advanced Practice Providers, and collaboration with medical and clinical leadership on program initiatives.

- • General Psychiatrists with experience treating children and adolescents

- • Additional experience in Addiction Medicine is highly valued
- • A strong preference is given to candidates who can work onsite during the initial launch phase
- • Once operations are stable, a hybrid onsite/remote schedule may be considered

Monarch is seeking an experienced Psychiatrist to serve as the Medical Director for Crisis & Urgent Care Services at our new Stephen M. Morris Behavioral Health Center, a state-of-the-art, 60,000‑sf, 72‑bed Tier 4 behavioral health facility. This is a unique opportunity to shape a flagship program designed to expand access to high-quality behavioral health care for children, adolescents, and adults across the region.
Who We’re Looking For

- Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists, or
- General Psychiatrists with experience treating children and adolescents
- Additional experience in Addiction Medicine is highly valued.
About the Facility
Opening in August 2026, the Stephen M. Morris Behavioral Health Center will include:
- 24-bed Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) for children and adolescents
- 16-bed Facility-Based Crisis (FBC) unit for children and adolescents
- Behavioral Health Urgent Care serving children, adolescents, and adults
- Onsite Pharmacy
- A Learning Kitchen supporting therapeutic programming for the PRTF
