🩺 Staff Psychiatrist – Inpatient & Nursing Facility Rounds

AIMergency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team serving inpatient hospitals and nursing facilities throughout the West Palm Beach region.

Position Overview

The Staff Psychiatrist will conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up visits, and treatment coordination across multiple inpatient and nursing facility settings approximately 3–4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric rounds in inpatient and skilled nursing facilities
• Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, social work, and primary care providers
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in treatment planning and discharge coordination
• Build strong clinical relationships with facility staff and patients

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Psychiatry residency training
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active Florida Medical License or ability to obtain
• DEA license preferred
• Experience in inpatient psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, or consult-liaison psychiatry preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently across multiple facilities
