Key Responsibilities
- • Conduct psychiatric rounds in inpatient and skilled nursing facilities
- • Perform psychiatric evaluations and medication management
- • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, social work, and primary care providers
- • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- • Participate in treatment planning and discharge coordination
- • Build strong clinical relationships with facility staff and patients
Required
- • MD or DO with Psychiatry residency training
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- • Active Florida Medical License or ability to obtain
- • Strong communication and organizational skills
- • Ability to work independently and efficiently across multiple facilities
Preferred
- • DEA license preferred
- • Experience in inpatient psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, or consult-liaison psychiatry preferred

Position Overview
The Staff Psychiatrist will conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, follow-up visits, and treatment coordination across multiple inpatient and nursing facility settings approximately 3–4 days per week.

Qualifications
