Evaluates patients and gathers pertinent information for diagnosis and treatment, orders further testing, and refers to other medical providers as necessary for appropriate medical management. Documents in the EMR, completes necessary forms and correspondence in a timely manner, fosters staff development, and helps provide a safe environment for patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- • Evaluates patient and obtains pertinent information for the diagnosis and treatment of the medical problem.
- • Orders further testing and refers to other medical providers as necessary for the appropriate medical management of the patient.
- • Documents appropriately in the EMR and completes all necessary forms and correspondence for proper patient care in a timely manner.
- • Fosters the development of staff to fulfill the current and future requirements of individuals and the organization.
- • Provides a safe environment for patients and staff.
Required
- • Allopathic (MD) or Osteopathic (DO) Physician; board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- • Completion of a IM or FM residency program
- • Current Oklahoma Medical License and DEA/OBNDD; other required licenses/board certifications pertinent to specialty/area worked
- • Must have formal NRHS Medical Staff privileges for specialty/area worked; includes age-specific competency
