Neuro ICU Intensivist Position - Texas Medical Center

This role provides primary responsibility for ICU care, with a focus on managing complex neurological illnesses and injuries. The physician will work within a collaborative academic environment and is expected to deliver personalized care while supporting Houston Methodist’s service standards and values.

  • Intentionally collaborates with other healthcare professionals involved in patients/customers or employees’ experiential journeys to ensure strong communication, ease of access to information, and a seamless experience
  • Involves patients (customers) in shift/handoff reports by enabling their participation in their plan of care as applicable to the given job
  • Actively supports the organization’s vision, fulfills the mission and abides by the I CARE values
Required

  • need to be fellowship trained in neurocritical care
  • Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurocritical Care
  • either have a Texas license or be in the process of obtaining one

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Neuro Critical Care Intensivist to join our team at our campus located at the Texas Medical Center. The physician will have primary responsibility in ICU care, trained in managing complex neurological illnesses and injuries. The potential candidates will need to be fellowship trained in neurocritical care. Candidates must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurocritical Care, and either have a Texas license or be in the process of obtaining one.
