Primary Care Physician
This role provides comprehensive outpatient primary care for adult and family medicine patients in an established practice. The physician will collaborate with specialists, hospital-based providers, and an integrated care team within a growing healthcare network.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide comprehensive preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic primary care
- • Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease
- • Conduct routine physical exams and wellness visits
- • Coordinate care with specialists and hospital services
- • Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
- • Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
- • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes
Required
- • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- • Eligible for Maine medical licensure
- • DEA certification or eligibility
- • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
