Required
- • Completion of a neonatology fellowship
- • MD or DO
- • Board-certified or board-eligible in neonatal-perinatal medicine
- • Licensed as a physician in the State of Michigan
- • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- • Proficiency with ventilators, CPAP, umbilical lines, and advanced monitoring equipment
- • Ability to react calmly and efficiently to life-threatening emergencies
- • Expert-level data interpretation and diagnostic skills for rapidly changing patient conditions
- • Highly effective in emotional, high-stakes communication with families

The University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Lansing is seeking per diem, enthusiastic and dedicated Neonatologists to join the Neonatology team. UMH-Sparrow is committed to improving access to medical care across the Mid-Michigan region.
• Provide clinical care in a 35-bed Level III NICU and a 12-bed Special Care Nursery
• NICU manages 700-800 admissions annually, with high-frequency ventilation, inhaled
nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia
• Team includes neonatologists, APPs, fellows, and residents
• Participate in academic case conferences and QI initiatives with Michigan Medicine
