Hematologist

Join a growing hematology team focused primarily on Classical (Benign) Hematology while supporting the continuum of Malignant Hematology care. The role includes inpatient and outpatient patient care, procedures, multidisciplinary collaboration, patient education, and participation in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, manage, and treat hematologic disorders including leukemia, lymphoma, anemia, hemoglobinopathies, hemophilia, thrombophilia, and other classical hematology conditions.
  • Perform procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and blood transfusions when clinically indicated.
  • Develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Partner with colleagues across specialties—Oncology, Pathology, Radiology, and more—to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and long-term management.
  • Engage in system wide initiatives to improve care quality, enhance access, and expand program reach.
  • Contribute to teaching and mentorship for residents and fellows.
  • Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
