Physician - Virtual Health Assessment (Part-Time)
Provide quality care to patients on Oscar's platforms via phone and video while serving as a supervising physician to Advanced Practice Providers. This is a remote, part-time role focused on virtual medical care, oversight of nurse practitioners and physician assistants, and collaboration across service lines.
Key Responsibilities
- • Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
- • Provide medical care virtually (by phone, video, & message) in alignment with Oscar Medical Group guidelines, practices and policies
- • Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
- • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- • Other duties as assigned
Required
- • Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- • Must be licensed in TN and FL or Texas (full license, not telehealth)
- • Active IMLCC or eligible to apply
- • Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance, working with our licensing vendor
- • 3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice
- • Experience with value based care documentation standards
Preferred
- • 2+ years of Telemedicine experience
- • Spanish fluency
- • Regulatory supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)

About The Role
This is a remote, part-time W2 role, 20-29 hours weekly.
Hours of Operation (shifts will occur within this window of time):
Monday - Thursday 8am - 8pm EST
Friday & Saturday 8am - 6pm EST

While your daily work will be completed from your home office, occasional travel may be required for team meetings and company events.

The base pay for this role is: $104-$136 per hour. You are also eligible for employee benefits, annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year, and annual performance bonuses.
